These Terms govern access to and use of LIT/AMS, including public pages, personal workspaces, company workspaces, enterprise relationships, onboarding, reporting, sales operations, training, HR tools, statements, commissions, and related services.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, accessing a workspace, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and any referenced policies. If you use the service on behalf of an agency, enterprise, company, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
If you do not agree, do not create an account, accept an invite, or use the service.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting credentials, assigning appropriate user roles, and managing access for your team, agents, staff, contractors, and connected enterprises.
Company owners and enterprise administrators are responsible for the activity that occurs in their workspaces and for ensuring that users have only the access they need.
As between you and us, you retain ownership of customer records, employee records, sales records, carrier statements, uploaded files, notes, training content, company configuration, and other data you submit to the service.
You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and use that data only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the service.
LIT-AMS provides preliminary information to support licensed insurance professionals. Outputs may contain errors, omissions or outdated information and do not bind an insurer or establish eligibility, coverage or final premiums. Users must verify results against current insurer materials and comply with applicable licensing, appointment, advertising, illustration and disclosure requirements. Do not present unverified LIT-AMS output as an insurer-approved quote or illustration. Provide customers with required insurer documents and disclosures. These terms do not replace those obligations or excuse inaccurate or misleading statements, whether written or spoken.
The platform may display estimated commissions, chargebacks, payouts, statement totals, production figures, overrides, payroll previews, and related financial summaries. These calculations are provided for operational visibility only and are not guaranteed to be accountant-accurate, payroll-accurate, tax-ready, or suitable for official accounting purposes.
Any payment, commission, chargeback, override, statement, or earnings estimate shown in the platform should be treated as an informational approximation based on records, carrier statements, user uploads, configuration settings, and data supplied by the agency, enterprise, agent, carrier, or other users. The system can contain mistakes, missing data, duplicate data, configuration errors, parsing errors, timing differences, or carrier-statement discrepancies.
Customers and users are responsible for independently verifying all financial, payroll, commission, tax, and accounting information with their own records, carrier statements, accountants, tax professionals, payroll providers, and legal or compliance advisors. The platform is not an accounting system, payroll provider, tax advisor, financial advisor, insurance carrier, broker-dealer, MGA, or legal advisor.
LIT/AMS is workflow software. We do not sell insurance, issue policies, make underwriting decisions, provide tax or legal advice, guarantee carrier payment, or determine whether an agent, agency, company, or user is properly licensed or compliant.
You are responsible for licensing, appointments, carrier requirements, state and federal insurance rules, marketing compliance, lead consent, recordkeeping, customer communications, compensation practices, and any required disclosures.
You must use the service lawfully and professionally. You may not misuse credentials, access data without authorization, upload malicious files, spam consumers, scrape the platform, interfere with security, or use the service to violate insurance, privacy, employment, consumer protection, anti-spam, or other applicable laws.
Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms.
Subscription, trial, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and payment terms are described in the Subscription & Billing Terms. Before Stripe or another live payment processor is enabled, some billing records may be simulated for account and workspace activation.
When live billing is enabled, you authorize recurring charges according to the plan, billing interval, trial, promotional, and renewal terms presented at signup or checkout.
We may update, improve, suspend, remove, or change features as the platform evolves. We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Support is provided through the contact channels made available in the service or on the public website.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the service and customer data. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for using strong passwords, limiting access, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use.
The service, software, workflows, designs, branding, documentation, and platform content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create competing products from the service except as permitted by law or written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate access if an account is unpaid, presents a security risk, violates these Terms, misuses the platform, or creates legal or operational risk.
You may stop using the service or cancel a self-serve subscription according to the Subscription & Billing Terms. Certain records may be retained as needed for security, audit, legal, tax, compliance, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-data, or business-interruption damages.
We may update these Terms as the platform, legal requirements, or business practices change. Material changes will be posted through the service or public website. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
